No recording feature. What is outlined on the website help does not work. My kids want to record the songs they already know how to play. Why is there no record feature?
Please enable export user recorded voice or midi songs
By sfsbufdfi
It is a fundamental feature of today’s keyboard app to have the file export capability to allow user to manage and export keyboard recorded songs to mobile devices for easy sharing and management. Both midi format and voice format should be supported for sure. Currently the app already allow user to play their user recorded voice songs inside the keyboard , but why missing the song delete and export feature. Do the right things first please! I got a keyboard for Christmas, but it does not work with the app. I don’t know what to do.
It’s free and plays midi

Importing midi to the piano roll is the best part of this app besides being free. Tons of midi tracks for free online from classical to video game music just to give anyone reading this an idea of how cool this feature is. Slowing the tempo down with the lighted keys and what’s on the screen help since I’m not that great at reading sheet music. It’s a good tool for me as someone who’s getting back into learning having had some previous experience. + + I’m using the LK-S250. Some of the features on the app aren’t compatible with my model since it a lower end model and older I think. I can’t seem to adjust the volume between the keyboard and the app which makes it hard to hear between the two. Some of the midi I imported have multiple tracks and didn’t exactly line up with a cohesive left and right hand positioned track to learn from. Not a huge deal cause I can edit the midi in a DAW. Wish you could highlight a group of notes to loop sections. + + I bought the keyboard barely used for 100 bucks and the app was free. Overall pretty good deal.
It’s cute, could use some polishing

I love that it’s free, thank you for that! + Beautiful home screen—I wish that level of design was incorporated throughout. The user interface and menus for selecting and navigating songs is a little confusing at first. + + My main issue is controlling the playback. + It’s impossible to “fine scroll” back just a little. The playback slider just wants to snap backwards in 10 second intervals, which is annoying when you only want to see/hear a few specific notes. + + It would be great if I could simply drag the large window (where it shows the colored bars of upcoming keys) up and down to rewind/fast forward and also slowly scrub through a complex cluster of notes to hear each note as it passes the bottom edge of the frame. + + I would also appreciate the ability to set a “start loop” and “end loop” tab anywhere in the song to isolate a small portion on repeat. I think the “A->B” icon thing is supposed to have some looping function, but it’s very cumbersome to figure out.
