EZ-BU Extension

EZ-BU facilite l’accès aux ressources électroniques des bibliothèques universitaires membres de Normandie Université (Université de Caen Normandie, Université Le Havre Normandie, Université de Rouen Normandie, ENSICAEN, INSA Rouen Normandie et ENSA Normandie).

L'extension permet non seulement de se connecter en 1 clic aux ressources documentaires de son établissement, mais aussi d'interroger la disponibilité des références dans les catalogues des bibliothèques universitaires.

L'objectif de cette extension est d'aider les étudiants, les enseignants-chercheurs, les chercheurs et les personnels affiliés aux établissements membres de la ComUE Normandie Université à accéder plus facilement au texte intégral des ressources électroniques des bibliothèques universitaires.

Le menu de l'extension vous permet également d'accéder facilement aux différents services proposés par les bibliothèques universitaires

EZ-BU est un projet open-source développé par les pôles du Numérique et de la Documentation, Edition et Science Ouverte de Normandie Université. Elle s'inspire de l'extension LAMA réalisée par l'Université d'Aix-Marseille. A terme, le code source pourra être réutilisé par n'importe quel établissement de l'Enseignement Supérieur de la Recherche et de l'Innovation souhaitant développer sa propre version de l'outil.

However, you may need to install EZ-BU extensions manually, this article outlines two simple methods to effortlessly install EZ-BU extensions, whether they come as unpacked folders in compressed formats like .zip or as .crx files.

Method 1: Download EZ-BU extension and manually install through Drag &Drop

If you ever need to manually install a EZ-BU extension for Chrome, don't worry, it's a simple process. Just follow these easy steps, and you will have your extension ready to use in no time.

Step 1: Download the EZ-BU Extension by clicking the "Download CRX" button on the website.

Look for the EZ-BU extension you wish to install. Go to the website and download the EZ-BU extension package, which is usually a .CRX file and comes in a zipped file. Here ".crx" file is the format for EZ-BU extension that contains all the data.

Step 2: Extract &Arrange Files

Once the file is downloaded, extract that file into its own folder. Similarly, give that extension files a permanent home. In other words, keep it in a folder that you don't accidentally delete it because these files will be needed to make that extension work.
