Gamepad to Keyboard Mapper Extension

Gamepad to Keyboard Mapper will allow you to map Gamepad buttons and axes to keyboard buttons. It opens the door for using a game controller or joypad for online games that only have keyboard support. This has been tested and works with Chrome OS.

Simply click the extension icon, and then add, delete, or edit mappings. Gamepad buttons go on the left, and keyboard keys on the right. When you are entering a gamepad button number, just press the button on your controller. When you are entering a key, just press the key on your keyboard.

Note: When visiting a page, you must first press a button to activate the gamepad API. Keep this in mind - your first button press on a page or while adding mappings will not be registered.

Nathan M (ID: 000000a0a90c2683) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 04/05/2023 For some sites this works really well! It works for games on Google itself like Google Snake or Google Dino Run. But it does not work on the old Flash Player Games, like the older typical browser games that you used to play when you were young. So it's a bit try and error when it comes to browser games. It does work for Javascript games (which are newer games that you can play inside the browser). You can find games like that on lutanho.net/stroke/online.html. The extension will support them. Or you can look at this list of top javascript games (this extension will support some them). https://www.pcgamer.com/best-browser-games/ Other games that use javascript: https://www.freecivweb.org/ https://warbrokers.io/signin.php (shooter) http://nightpoint.io/ (shooter) Or just play Google games: search: google snake
