Easy KeyBase.io Encryption Extension

NOTE: This Extension is no longer maintained. Keybase launched an official extension please use that one. Thank you for all of my users that took my little project and mean something for a couple of years. I appreciate you all!

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Easy KeyBase.io Encryption is a simple plugin that allows you to encrypt a string of text with someone's KeyBase.io public key. The encryption system uses KeyBase's kbpgp.js library allowing for fast, accurate, and relatively safe encryption.

The application can then export the encrypted string to the clipboard or upload it to PasteBin for ease of use.

You can now also use a private key stored on KeyBase.io to sign messages both encrypted and plain text.

This application is free and open source.

Meranda Carter (ID: 000000f0cfee24f1) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 01/21/2016 This is exactly what I needed alongside KeyBase. Other than full email integration, I really like how this app is there for exactly the right reasons and doesn't boast anything else.

Brandon M (ID: 0000002f5dca3ed6) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 01/21/2016 I'm a little biased though. But the Kbpgp.js library this is based on is really awesome and I feel like whether or not it's my extension or someone else's kbpgpjs is the way to go when it comes to encrypting information with javascript.
