Mahmood Gamal (ID: 000000ae8229833c) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 03/28/2023 I wanted an extension to create a slideshow of local images onto the new tab page and this is exactly what I needed. I also like the background sizing function. suggestion: the background swap is done through sliding, and I think it'd be better for example if there's a box beside it where the user can input the duration in seconds and set it however he likes and make the slider move on larger steps like, 0-15-30-60 and so on. suggestion 2: the max. duration is 2 hours, I wish you could increase it to 6 hours.

Avishek Das (ID: 000000d161b6109d) Voted 4 ★ - Updated 01/25/2018 Great stuff. But a few usability issues are present. 1. there should be a shortcut to the settings page on the new tab page itself. 2. the search/logo feature should be more customizable. currently there is no way to change its position or appearance. 3. there should be an option to select a single local image file. 4. there should be an option to select the background color. currently there is no way to change it from the default black. 5. a shortcut/button to go to the next image immediately should be on the new tab page itself. 6. there needs to be a "tile" option for image sizing. 7. he image timing slider should display the values while sliding or allow direct value input.

jeff notell (ID: 00000033cd53dd40) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 01/06/2017 I like "Dynamic new tab" - can be set to a local folder, and show a different diagram each time. I moved the logo image to upper right, made it open a page - got the page, css and js from "Humble New Tab Page" extension, which gives much more info. good combo, not hard if you know javascript
