Method 1: Download Ply extension and manually install through Drag &Drop

Step 1: Download the Ply Extension by clicking the "Download CRX" button on the website.

Look for the Ply extension you wish to install. Go to the website and download the Ply extension package, which is usually a .CRX file and comes in a zipped file. Here ".crx" file is the format for Ply extension that contains all the data.

Step 2: Extract &Arrange Files

Once the file is downloaded, extract that file into its own folder. Similarly, give that extension files a permanent home. In other words, keep it in a folder that you don't accidentally delete it because these files will be needed to make that extension work.

Open Google Chrome and in the address bar, type chrome://extensions; it will open the Google Chrome extensions page. Make sure that "My extensions" is selected in the sidebar.

Step 4: Drag and Drop the Extension

Now, go to the folder where you extracted the Ply extension and drag &drop the extension file from there anywhere onto the extension page within Google Chrome.

Step 5: Complete the Installation

Once you drag and drop the extension file, follow the steps that Google Chrome takes you through. Similarly, if the extension file is of .crx file format, you will be required to review the permissions and then add the extension.

Now, you can manage that added extension as you would like to with any other Chrome extension that you added through Chrome Webstore. Its icon will also appear in the Google Chrome Menu on the right side of the address bar once you activate it.

Method 2: Download Ply extension for Chrome and install in Developer Mode

Convert the file to a ZIP file if it is in CRX format then extract the Ply extension zip file or folder that you downloaded. Make sure you extract it using the same folder name and keep it safely in another folder, so you don't delete it by mistake. The extracted folder will be needed to keep your Ply extension running.

Step 3: Open Chrome Extension Setting Page

In the address bar of Google Chrome, type chrome://extensions and open the Chrome Extension Page.

Step 4: Enable Developer Mode

After opening the Chrome Extension page, look at the top right side, and you will find the toggle option of "Developer mode."Simply enable that developer mode option.

Dawson Allen (ID: 000000ccef07cc2c) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 11/27/2022 Amazing tool, backed by one of the most responsive teams I've ever seen. It's jaw-dropping how quickly they can ship features and I'm really excited to see this take over the market.

Ben Segal (ID: 00000044e7fcb2bf) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 11/16/2022 Ply is one of the coolest and most valuable tools I have used. We use many different no-code tools and are super proficient using them. However, while most no-code tools lets you play with APIs, Ply actually connects to the UI of the products you work with and always want to add features to, and lets you do that!! We have been able to build a demo-scheduling process on HubSpot for our SDRs and gather all the information that we need for every schedule, which we have not been able to do before. Ply is great and I'm always looking for scenarios to apply Ply to streamline me and team's day-to-day!

Jeff Delacruz (ID: 00000065fe71ef33) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 11/14/2022 Simply, Ply adds a button to your favorite software that just does stuff for you. I just can't believe that nobody has thought of this before and Ply does it well. Ply is simple enough for a casual user with better than Zapier like workflows but has functionality that even a developer can love with http calls that return and manipulate Json. After developing solutions in low code solutions like Bubble and Integormat that took weeks to build, I was able to do the same thing in Ply in a matter of hours. Ply is a game changer for anyone trying to streamline their job or just add a few quick functions to their gmail.

Mike Dion (ID: 0000004aa312f48b) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 11/07/2022 I've been planning to create my own ticketing tool for a couple of years now. Not because I need my own tool, but because all of the tools I use that "integrate" with each other don't do so in the ways I want them to. Enter Ply - in one afternoon I solved my Trello/Harvest time tracking issues where my team never has to think about which project/client/task they should track time under and my erroneous entries are gone. Trello automations are fantastic, but managing SOPs with buttons on cards is cumbersome, and tedious to update. Again, enter Ply and I can manage SOPs in a spreadsheet with the ability to search for the one I need, press a button, and the checklist is added to the task. I can't say enough good things about what Ply does and how responsive their team is. I've been promoting it to every entrepreneur and project manager that I know!
