Adds a configurable exit button to Chrome in kiosk mode
Kiosk Exit Button Extension
This extension adds a customizable exit button to a kiosk window, offering the following configurable settings:
• Type: Choose between text or image.
• Contents: Define the text and color or upload an image.
• Position: Specify the button's placement on the screen.
• Size: Adjust the button's dimensions.
• Auto-hide Timer (in seconds): Set the inactivity time (in seconds) after which the button will automatically disappear.
The settings are stored locally using local storage.
About Permissions: Access to all websites is required so the extension can inject the close button, it does not store any data besides the configuration
I developed this for my own project and decided to share it here in case it could be useful to others.

Now, you can manage that added extension as you would like to with any other Chrome extension that you added through Chrome Webstore. Its icon will also appear in the Google Chrome Menu on the right side of the address bar once you activate it.
Method 2: Download Kiosk Exit Button extension for Chrome and install in Developer Mode
This is another method to install Kiosk Exit Button extension manually, but the twist is that here, you install by enabling the developer mode option provided in Google Chrome. This mode is commonly used for testing extensions or running unpublished tools.
Step 1: Download the Kiosk Exit Button extension file
Select and download the Kiosk Exit Button extension by clicking the 'Download CRX' button on the website.
Step 2: Extract the downloaded contents

Step 7: Confirm and Install
After you select an extension folder of a Google Chrome extension you're installing manually, confirm its installation for the final time and let the installation complete.
