Unofficial extension for FloraBase providing interactive maps.
FloriBunda Extension
FloriBunda removes the standard static map from FloraBase species profile pages and replaces it with an interactive map. Clicking on the map markers opens a popup containing information on the collector, the catalog number, and the date of collection.
FloriBunda uses data from the Atlas of Living Australia, which publishes an API giving access to data from museums, herbaria, and other institutions around Australia. The WA Herbarium is one of the institutions that provides data to the ALA, so it's possible to get the same data that populates the static map images on FloraBase, but render them in an interactive form.
