Erin (ID: 00000027e6830000) Voted 2 ★ - Updated 08/23/2023 I have had this extension for over a year and I did not have any issues with it until recently. As a previous reviewer states, I can not get the extension to open at all anymore. So while it was working, it was a great extension however I believe it no longer works. If someone else finds differently, please let us know via a review. Thanks.

Catherine Spry (ID: 0000003ff6ba43a7) Voted 1 ★ - Updated 02/05/2023 USED to be excellent little app for citing your genealogical finds. I wouldn't even try any more. DOES NOT WORK! I mean at all, & been this way for more than a year. I keep checking back, & every time it's worse. To be clear, it has not worked at all for a long time, but here it still is. Now it does not even try to start. I don't know why they don't remove it if they're not going to fix it. Then we at least know for sure. I suspect they, much like others have perfected the app here for free, then sold it, which is why it doesn''t work and hasn't worked for quite some time. I'm done waiting. My advice, don't bother.

Jessica McManus (ID: 000000fd786adc20) Voted 3 ★ - Updated 12/15/2021 I've had Record Seek for over a year now. I've NEVER been able to use it with Ancestry.com. It just spins and never loads the log in. It works fine with Family Search. 3 stars because it only does half of what it's supposed to.

Nicole Lindner-Miles (Nicole L) (ID: 0000008cbe51945d) Voted 3 ★ - Updated 07/19/2021 This tool WAS great, and I'll update this review if and when they resolve the issue. But like several other reviewers, it stopped working because RecordSeek has let their certificate lapse and hasn't renewed it. Because of that, Chrome blocks access to recordseek.com too, so there's no way to contact them other than through reviews. And even before this error started recording, it wouldn't add sources to Ancestry, just to FamilySearch. The detail of the error message I'm seeing is: NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID Subject: recordseek.com Issuer: R3 Expires on: Jul 6, 2021 Current date: Jul 19, 2021 Certificate Transparency: SCT DigiCert Yeti2021 Log (Embedded in certificate, Verified) SCT Google 'Xenon2021' log (Embedded in certificate, Verified)

Caroline Mackay (ID: 00000065f5794cda) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 07/08/2021 I love this site (tool) and I use it daily, but in the last couple of days I get this message. I would send this to the developer, but I can't find any other place to put this information Your connection is not private Attackers might be trying to steal your information from recordseek.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID recordseek.com normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to recordseek.com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be recordseek.com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged. You cannot visit recordseek.com right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.
