Tab Control Extension

Tab Control - The holly Grail of Tab Managers

I am a heavy tabs producer and I don't have the self discipline to close them. This behavior causes me huge problems like no ability to search and navigate between tabs, Chrome memory consumption raises and many other productivity issues.
Over the years I've tried almost any tab extension out there, just name it - I tried it. Almost any extension had a feature I like but there is no extension where I can get all the benefits I am looking for. Therefore I decided to create the holly grail of Tab Managers.
This extension is ready for use and under highly development in order to provide many useful features and tools fast.

Step 2: Extract &Arrange Files

Once the file is downloaded, extract that file into its own folder. Similarly, give that extension files a permanent home. In other words, keep it in a folder that you don't accidentally delete it because these files will be needed to make that extension work.

Step 5: Complete the Installation

Once you drag and drop the extension file, follow the steps that Google Chrome takes you through. Similarly, if the extension file is of .crx file format, you will be required to review the permissions and then add the extension.

Now, you can manage that added extension as you would like to with any other Chrome extension that you added through Chrome Webstore. Its icon will also appear in the Google Chrome Menu on the right side of the address bar once you activate it.

Method 2: Download Tab Control extension for Chrome and install in Developer Mode

Đorđe Jović (ID: 000000938352529e) Voted 1 ★ - Updated 11/27/2022 No drag and drop option for tabs between the windows. It doesn't even exist for inside one window... Don't download this if you're working with many browser windows with many open tabs..

Extra Google Account (ID: 00000091058c198c) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 04/29/2022 Is this on Github? I'd like to follow development if possible. Seems like you are actively developing! I've long used Session Buddy but development has been dead for a while. I have to export my sessions to Devonthink to sort, search, and manage them. SB allows you to search, but the sessions are just in one huge list and there is no tagging. Giving this a go and excited to see you are actively developing!

PeaceBy Jesus (ID: 000000cc387ff3e1) Voted 4 ★ - Updated 11/09/2021 In Vivaldi left licking on the toolbar icon results in a barely visible white drop down box and clicking on it brings up a vertical list of all open tabs, with an pop-up option on hover to copy the tab URL, hide the tab, page it or close it. Right clicking on the toolbar icon and hitting Manage extensions brings up more option, such as keyboard shortcuts and Insights which tells me today 30 websites, 102 pages and experimental features, etc. All this is helpful, although there is no locking of tabs, or search function by typing content of tabs, or saving all the tab URL's, or customizing of tabs (color, fonts, etc.) would would be helpful. As would placing a link to Tab Control in the right click menu of pages, But the Chrome engine is not that of legacy Firefox and thus the famous Tab Mix Plus extension, among others. Thanks. Grace and peace thru Jesus the Lord.
