generals.io helper Extension

This extension keeps discovered mountains, cities, and generals on your screen even after they disappear into fog of war. That means you will never lose track of the location of cities you were fighting over or generals you have discovered, even if your opponents take out the troops giving vision.

This extension also keeps track of changes in army for all players at every turn. This information is useful because it can tell you how many towers an opponent owns, as well as who is fighting and losing troops.

Aaron Laws (ID: 0000007f5c60b25d) Voted 1 ★ - Updated 10/05/2021 This is a wonderful extension. Thank you. I would like a new feature: a heat map based on how many units are on a square. When playing 1v1, I need to gather up units. Knowing where the bigger units are helps when deciding which units to gather. Thanks! EDIT doesn't work anymore.

Victor Wang (ID: 000000c6153691b5) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 03/18/2020 This is a very helpful extension, thanks so much for providing it to the community. There is one helpful feature that I would like added to the extension, however. Maps are generated such that general locations are sufficiently spaced out. Upon inspection, the closest two king locations can be to each other is a distance of the square root of 50 (a horizontal distance of 5 and a vertical distance of 5). Marking a circle of radius sqrt(50) around known general locations would help in reducing the area necessary to search.
