Brave Browser - New Tab Theme Extension

Donations help us make improvements to the project! https://paypal.me/bravenewtab

This extension can be installed in Chrome, Brave, or any other Chromium-based browser.

One downside of Brave is that it does not offer as many built-in customization features for the new tab as we would hope for.

With this extension, you can easily change the background, add shortcuts, and do much more with your new tab, while still incorporating Brave-oriented features.

Please note that is extension is based off of an extension called Infinite Dashboard:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/infinite-dashboard-new-ta/meffljleomgifbbcffejnmhjagncfpbd

This extension and its developers are not affiliated with Infinite Dashboard in any way.

lisako196 ko (ID: 000000facc364caa) Voted 1 ★ - Updated 04/19/2023 When I saw this ad on Youtube I thought this would be a cool app to get. It was just for bribery. It didn't even work. Youtube said that my account was at risk of getting attacked. When I opened in Brave, it did not change. Everything was really small and is very low quality. There were no themes to it. The formating is very ugly. When I tried to delete it, it was like it was stuck to me forever. Even when I clicked on a link, it would pop up at brave. It wasted my time. Also, the "ads blocked" and "trackers blocked are all fake, and I know because I somehow still managed to get ads. Terrible app and would not recommend.

Đorđe Jović (ID: 000000938352529e) Voted 1 ★ - Updated 03/27/2023 Gives you an awful white background background, with a Brave logo and an address bar beneath it. But, it is nothing like the actual New Tab in the Brave browser. I would know, since I tried this on Brave, and know how the New Tab looks like. This is not it. But, besides the unlawfully awful page design, the actual search engines include every single one of the big 5 - Bing, Google, Yahoo, Yandex and, at the last place on the list, DuckDuckGo. But, there is not actual Brave search engine to choose from. So, you deliberately made a "Brave New Tab", which doesn't actually even use the Brave search by default. But even worse, doesn't offer it at all. It is very misleading from what a browser's new tab page should look like, that I am very assured this is not the official Brave company's doing. I not only advise against downloading this, but also advise whoever made and published this monstrosity to remove it.

NemophilistPNW (ID: 000000e1c8080f68) Voted 3 ★ - Updated 04/05/2022 Why is there no option to add shortcuts? I want to pin all my shortcuts to the main new tab page as shown in your first photo but there is no such option in the settings.
