Kentucky’s Student Technology Leadership Program
STLP Application
The Kentucky Department of Education’s Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) uses project-based learning principles to empower student learning and achievement through the utilization (and creation) of technology to solve school and community needs.
STLP provides a framework for highlighting the advanced use of technology for learning in Kentucky’s classrooms. Daily, students are developing digital products (often collaboratively) to demonstrate what they have learned; utilizing or creating technology to solve a problem, and, often, using their leadership and technology skills to serve their school or community. STLP provides opportunities for students to share those projects, products and services at local, district, regional, state and national events.
