Wil (ID: 0000004512adf676) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 02/06/2023 I've tried 8 other youtube note-taking plugins, from the most simple to the most complex, and this is the one I settled on. Even the paid plugins lacked what I wanted. Customizable hotkeys, is for me, a must. Being able to view all of the videos I have created notes for is also a must. An quick and easy way to export to markdown (for Obsidian integration) was a must. This checks all the boxes for basic functionality. No, it doesn't do everything I want. It doesn't support automated caption inserts into notes. It doesn't have a dictation feature. It doesn't allow me to move the notes pane to the left or right of the video element, to help me maximize real estate on my ultrawide monitor. But it works, it's quick, it's reliable, and it has the most important features.
