Kibana Search Extension

An extension to add keyword filtering to a Kibana search.

Kibana offers keyword filtering and table configuration for logs in discover. This extension will allow the user to add keyword autocomplete and navigation to Omnibox.

Once configured the Kibana Search Omnibox autocomplete and navigation is initiated by typing \"kibana\" + [tab] into the omnibox. Typing into the Omnibox will trigger the extension to query the Kibana API for suggestions. The user can select a suggestion or continue to type. On hitting return the current tab will navigate to the Discovery tab of the Kibana UI at the configured URL.

The extension needs to be configured with the;

1. URL to access Kibana, eg;
https://elastic.mycompany.com

2. The name of the Space, eg;
\"myspace\"

3. The Id and Name of the Index to discover, eg;
\"c8f94360-984f-11ec-ae80-53f06d7b19e6\", \"product\"

4. The Field name (including the .keyword extension) for which to autocomplete, eg;
\"application.data.payload.my-property.keyword\"

5. A list of Columns to display in the search results, eg;
\"application.data.payload.user-details.keyword,application.data.payload.other-details.keyword\", \"message\" or \"_source\"
