SignalK Simulator Application

SignalKSimulator is a simple and quick way to produce a Signal K data stream without the need for anything but the Chrome platform. It is the ideal way to easily generate a Signal K data stream for your project.

The application generates Signal K data that mimics Vessel movement, GPS fix information as well as environmental information such as Wind speed / direction, Water temperature / depth and Propulsion.

SignalKSimulator generates a data stream aligned to v1.0.0 of the Signal K specification.

User definable:
- Seed data to set the initial vessel state to which SignalKSimulator applies a delta to mimic vessel movement
- SignalK attributes entered as Path : Value pairs

which are then transmitted within the data stream:
- served over TCP or WebSocket to connected devices
OR
- sent to SignalK server installed with the sksimapp-provider plugin.
