Hide images with NOPE. 2.0 Extension

Hide even MORE images with \"Hide images with NOPE. 2.0\"!

Articles with images get better engagement and time on page. Publishers know this.

However, sometimes you -- the reader -- need information about a subject and don't WANT to see any images.

That's where Hide images with NOPE. comes in.

+ Deathly afraid of bugs and could REALLY do without seeing pictures of them when looking for exterminator services online?

+ Want to hate-read about a particular celebrity, but can't stand to see their image splashed alongside the text?

+ Looking to be an informed citizen, but can't stomach seeing X politician on the page?

We gotchu.

With NOPE. you can conveniently block out images. Download the extension, click on the icon and choose \"Hide.\" Change your mind? You can easily toggle back to \"Show.\"

Download Hide images with NOPE. 2.0, the FREE image blocker, today! And if you prefer an extension that DOESN'T automatically block all images, check out our other extension: Hide images with NOPE: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hide-images-with-nope/gdkmclihieenaopcpkmfhmhchaijfcgh

P.S. This extension does not block advertising images or videos. *shakes fist at sky*

P.P.S. You might have to wait for the website to finish loading and/or then refresh the page before the extension begins working.

Rafi (ID: 00000081d5e87f85) Voted 1 ★ - Updated 06/20/2021 It does not replace images with placeholders - It hides the original elements with display:none; and then pushes a new element next to the hidden tag (with their own styles..), effectively breaking the webpages and flooding it with 2x as many images. It also has to be enabled on each page load, and a website needs to be fully loaded in order for the plugin to do its job, so you will see the images while the page is loading for a few seconds, and then it breaks.

Fabian F (ID: 000000a4a5522f19) Voted 4 ★ - Updated 11/16/2017 It does what it says, however, it would be better if it would hide images before loading the page. The problem is that you still see the images for a split second before it hides them. For some uses, this is not enough.
