Sort Maps Results Extension

Did you ever find yourself scrolling through tons of results in \"Google Maps\" but they only have very little reviews compared to the ones that have thousands?

This extension will help you sort \"Google Maps\" results by the number of reviews descending.

THE EXTENSION WORKS ON THE FOLLOWING URLS:
* https://maps.google.com
* https://google.com/maps

It *won't* work on local \"Google Maps\" URLs.

This extension adds the sorting button on the bottom right part. To use it:

* Search for what you want.
* Scroll down through the search results to fetch as many results as you want. This is because the sorting happens only on the client side.
* Click on the sorting button and go back to the top.

Kevin Huang (ID: 000000ce6af2d7f6) Voted 4 ★ - Updated 08/05/2023 Thanks for the script (it doesn't actually work atm). Simple fix: 1. Press f12 2. Go to sources tab 3. Click the double right-arrow on the left, select Content Scripts 4. Go to the code for this script 5. Change line 15 to const parentContainer = elements0.closest('div.Nv2PK').parentNode.parentNode; 6. Change line 19 to const articleElement = element.closest('div.Nv2PK').parentNode; 7. Save and run it. To the developer, I couldn't find any divs with role=article that encapsulates each search result, so that is why elements0.closest('divrole=article') returned null.
