Calorie Hider Extension

Caloric values will be replaced with \"X\" or any text/word of your choice. You can edit the text/word that will replace the number by clicking on the icon of the extension in the top right corner of your browser.

For example, when this extension is activated, you won't see recipes' caloric information. This also works with Deliveroo so you can use it to order food without triggering yourself!

Disclaimer: It takes 1-3 seconds to actually hide the number (depending on the website) after the page is displayed so keep that in mind as you browse. I'm working on fixing it but in the meantime, what I do is I look away for a bit while the page loads.

Note: This extension isn't perfect, nutritional information is displayed in a lot of different ways by different websites. I did my best to cover the most common cases. However, if ever you see a site/situation where the censoring doesn't work, please comment or email me the details! That way, I can improve the accuracy of the extension for you and everyone else :)

Luke Williams (ID: 000000f83b967ccb) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 01/21/2023 Great tool for avoiding calories on websites, like Deliveroo. Would be great to have it ported over to Safari to make it usable on iPhone, though.

Nia Hopkins (ID: 00000055674ad770) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 07/27/2022 I'm so grateful for this extension. I googled specifically for an extension like this just hoping it existed after I was reminded that chain restaurants on Deliveroo etc. now have all the calories listed. As someone in recovery from an eating disorder it really messes with me to see those numbers everywhere when I've worked so hard not to think about them anymore. I'm just really grateful that someone made this, thank you so much, will be sharing with all my friends.

Quin O (ID: 000000486a1ee5c5) Voted 4 ★ - Updated 04/24/2022 SUPER useful now our joke of a PM has put calories everywhere! I only wish I'd known about it before I tried looking for food cos it's gonna take me a while to get over looking at the calories on my safe foods. Works really well with Deliveroo which honestly surprises me because that website is normally a nightmare to extensions. It doesn't always work with everything but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes

Mary Richards (ID: 00000049c9321ebb) Voted 3 ★ - Updated 09/20/2021 I have tried it out and it's great! It just takes a moment to ACTUALLY hide the number so I have to look away or look down for a microsecond to let the page load, otherwise I'll see it before it's censored. I'm grateful for this app though, and I hope it can be fixed soon! Thank you developer! I feel a little safer in my recovery and looking for good recipes online without seeing those calories I'm so afraid of. <3
