Michael (ID: 0000001da21611db) Voted 3 ★ - Updated 03/08/2021 Finally! An extension utilizing the Tab Groups API! It kinda works but isn't great. There's no options or customization, so it's entirely up to the extension to decide whether to move a tab into a group or not. I assume by "smart" it simply categorizes by domain (e.g. "youtube.com"). Also, it only works on the foreground tab. Background tabs are not auto-grouped, which is very much the use case I'm looking for - open a bunch of tabs in the background and have them automatically organized into groups.
