Jacko Nieuwenhuize (ID: 0000002e1ab67b3b) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 02/22/2024 We really love this extension, because it gives us more posibilities without all the bad language. It is especially nice that you can edit your own filter so it gives the possibility for all languages in the world. The support from Richard is very good, we needed a custom language/audio filter and he helped us really well. We really love it. Thank you

Isaiah Farb (ID: 000000ddb04e0f5c) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 01/02/2024 5/22/2022 review was made obsolete because the bug is no longer there. 5/29/2023 edit: Once again, fantastic! It would be GREAT if I could choose APF to be off by default, and then only be on for sites of my choosing. That would be better than running into another important questionnaire, slightly affected by APF, that I can't page-refresh without consequences. 1/2/2024 edit: Still fantastic. I wish it was on Firefox.

Peter Shields (ID: 000000e1ccdf7674) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 11/14/2023 I'm in the UK so Clearplay and VidAngel don't work effectively (even with a VPN). So this is the next best thing. In fact, in some ways it's even better because it will even filter live captioning on Youtube. Unlike Clearplay & VidAngel it does only filter language rather than visual content. But it does this extremely well and with a lot more versatility (oh, and for free!) Whilst it works fine "off the shelf", it works better if you take the time to fine-tune it to your personal preferences. The ability to filter universally across the whole internet and virtually every video platform is what makes it stand apart, and being able to set particular filters to specific websites makes it especially useful and effective. The developer was extremely helpful in answering queries. Me and my family are now able to enjoy a whole range of content that we'd previously banished for polluting our home and minds with wholly unncecssary profanity & blasphemy. I have been more than happy to reward the developer for this. One amusing incident that I suspect will only make sense to any Brits: Whilst watching the Channel 4 sitcom "The IT Crowd" the filters we had set-up meant that one of the characters said she was going for "...a gay break" and came back "...stinking of gays"!!!! It took us a moment or two to realise what had happened. See if you can figure out what the original script was!

Tim Fevens (ID: 0000008fd07e4444) Voted 5 ★ - Updated 08/28/2023 This works perfectly. I ran into a small issue with a particular website, it wasn't a problem with the extension, so I reached out to the developer and he quickly responded with a simple fix. I appreciate this extension as it allows me and my family to watch shows we wouldn't otherwise.
