Could have been my favorite word game ever…except for the constant, and I mean constant, ad breaks! Not only were they way too frequent but each ad was also way too long. Took the fun out of the game.
I NEED MORE!

I play this game to go to sleep and have for a couple years. I actually paid the one time fee to get rid of ads. But now I’ve done all the levels and I’m to the point where it’s doing “random levels” which feels like it’s picking from a much smaller handful of puzzles than the hundreds of levels I’ve already done. For example, I did the level based on Norse mythology one night and then turned around and got the same level the next morning. Anyway. I love this app. The keyboard is slow but it’s okay when you’re using one thumb to type while laying down with one eye open. I also liked the event type things where however many levels were based on one specific topic. I wish that would come back. It was only available for like a month.
Good, but…

I like the puzzles, but there are some annoying things. + 3 stars for the game, would be 5 stars if not for these three issues: + + 1 store/hint button location: These buttons are on top of the puzzle board and block the view of the bottom row so it is difficult to see the clues. + + 2 keyboard: I wish the in game keyboard allowed numbers and punctuation…especially when you are using the note feature. The keyboard needs a collapse/hide button when moving around the board. + + 3 ads: I am ok with ads but not when they are interrupting my thinking in the middle of a logic puzzle. And sometimes it feels like they are back to back—more time in ads than time working the puzzle. I can be on a streak of entering correct answers but the streak is reset when interrupted by an ad. + + 4 I would consider paying to remove the ads if the other 2 issues listed above were fixed.
Spent more time watching ads than playing

This game would be nice if it weren’t for the ads every 5 seconds. I put in a word and then is “ad break” for the next 30 seconds. I spend more time watching ads than I do playing. The puzzles are very easy, but they keep you busy. So it would be nice if that groove weren’t thrown off so often by useless ads that no one will actually download an app from. Want to like it, but I am deleting and not coming back, the ads are not worth the waste of time.

Overall I really enjoy to game but there must have been an update in the past couple weeks that now you can only play the game in random order. I was in the high 600s level and now it just gives me a random level and I don’t like that because I’ve already done most of them. I liked just going in order because I knew it wasn’t a repeat + + Edited 4/17: Giving it just one star now. Sometimes I play the same level 4-5 times in a day because it’s only random order. At least give us the option if we want random order or sequential order. Also the clues are way too vague sometimes. I’ll have just started a level with maybe 3 cells open and the clue will have like 16 possibilities of places where the answer can go so you lose all your lives before you even get a chance to answer. It was way better before when it went in sequential order and even had some challenges that gave you pics in the rewards gallery and a couple hints when you completed the whole challenge.
