A Wonderful Book Club App
By VeraJ
Was looking for an app to have a “book club” with a few long distance friends. I tried a few different ones, but most were set up for in-person meetings, and I just wanted to discuss books long distance and have our chats separated by book. This app has been the perfect thing. It started out as a good structured way to recommend and talk about books with a few pals, but over the past year of using it it’s had tons of improvements and now offers supplemental readings about the books, has a nicer format, lets you invite people to read in different ways, and is really nice aesthetically. + It is simple and easy to use, and fulfills the exact purpose I needed it for... sharing books I love with friends, and getting to hear what they think.
Perfect for Reading with Friends or a Book Group
By ThomasWales91
BookShip is a natural way to share reading of any text. All the tools are there to communicate: photos, hyperlinks, excerpts and, of course, text. I’ve used it to read with large groups, small groups, long and difficult texts and shorter recreational reads. It makes group readings more fun and insightful.
