I like the content of the app. A lot of puzzles, training for opening moves, and many more. But the design can be better. For example, the developer uses light text over over light backgrounds. You can read the text but why? It is an easy fix. Use a darker color text over light backgrounds.

This app certainly can improve your chess yet sometimes the solutions offered are just silly. There are times, for example, when the app passes up obvious decisions to take an opponent’s piece which I just don’t believe would happen in any game. On a few occasions the app has frozen, neither offering a solution of what to do next nor letting you move onto the next scenario, just keeps saying wrong move and the suggestion button won’t work. I like the app but it’s a work in progress and needs some more thought both technologically and in terms of the chess scenarios
