Scratches the itch!

Ooh, okay, this is satisfying… The dev is actively listening to players and feedback for the future, which is a good sign, and in-game purchases seem to be entirely optional so far, which is also refreshing.

Cake Boss!

It’s a solid 4 but I’m a Comedy Bang Bang / Scott Auckerbot fan so, +1. + + Anyway, I think the statement of balancing without IAP is meant in good faith… the game just needs a lot of balance for my taste. I like slow games but you need more to do while waiting for the slow parts to pick back up. It’s about $110 of gold to make the game feel balanced in the current state and not feel like rage quitting when hitting the next reset. 100 gold at the very end does not get you much. I feel like a reset of the gold shop would make it feel less daunting to not choose poorly for f2p. + + On that note, it feels bad in games like Idle Dyson Swarm when the IAP is like, $10 to completely break the game. But on the other hand the IAP here feels very expensive for what you get. + + Better variety of and just more in general offline rewards would be a nice way to make the game feel more rewarding, like you if you did a lot of active play to set up a nice check-in twice a day. But right now offline rewards rarely trigger for me since the last update. If it’s the last app opened I get nothing even after overnight.
