Overview

For over 150 years now, theories about early Arabic script (al-Jazm) vary between Musnad roots and Nabataean Arabs script evolved from Aramaic Letters. There may have been many Nabataean Aramaic letters similar to Jazm, but it is difficult to claim for sure, that Jazm have been evolved from Nabataean based on some of the symbols similar to those of Arabic writing. Especially since Nabataean Arabs letters and Musnad Alphabet have a common root, the Sinaitic alphabet. The researchers and orientalists have been neglecting the different vesrions of the Musnad letters in north Arabian as well as the Zabur script in their theories. The application contains many functionalities such as: - A comparative table for some ancient Arab alphabets (ASA, ANA, Thamudic, etc.), as well as the alphabet of the Nabataian Arabs branching from Aramaic and Phoenician. - Presenting an idea of the evolution of Jazm-letters, letter by letter, with information about the Nabataian letter on the one hand and the various Musnadic letters (especially the ONA and Thamudic) on the other hand. - Table of the modern Arabic alphabet, with some details. - Writing and converting texts from Arabic or Latin to the Nabataian, Musnad or North Arab letter, and more. - Writing and converting to grafitti Thamudi, Taymaitic, Thamudic, etc. - The geography and spread of the diffrent letters of Musnad with some details. Any suggestions, support, reaction or feedback are very welcome. Thank you!
