Overview
Welcome to Fisherman, the serious game designed for educational purposes to teach Garret Hardin's theory of Tragedy of the Commons, published in 1968. In this game, you will assume the role of a fisherman operating a fishing fleet within a lake, and you will learn about the challenges of managing a shared natural resource.
Fisherman is a multiuser game, which means that you will be playing with other students who are connected to the same lake through a local area network (LAN). The game leader will operate the server, a separate application, that hosts the lake.
THIS APPLICATION WILL NEED A HOST TO RUN. DOWNLOAD "FISHERMAN SERVER" HERE IN APP STORE TO SET UP THE HOST.
