Overview
This e-book is the seventh in the Plain Language series. It focuses on triangles and their relevance to 'distance and direction' problems . It both uses and extends the ideas introduced in book six.
Pythagoras' Theorem and Triangle Trigonometry are covered, in both right angled and non right angled contexts.
It uses the same format as the other books in the series. The theory is written in plain language, progressing in small steps. It is easy for students (and parents) to follow.
A number of interactive apps are included. These are self correcting and contain full solutions to numerous problems.
The e-book shows how maths is applied in practical settings.
It has been developed from my classroom teaching notes.
The content is a specifically structured to overcome problems that students commonly encounter when learning mathematics.
This makes it a good resource for teachers who want additional material in order to broaden the student's awareness of maths.
