Overview
** This application does not support "Windows 10 S" **
This is an application for extracting image files from Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint documents (e.g., ~.docx, ~.xlsx, ~.pptx).
[How to Use]
1. Launch the Image Extractor for Office Docs application.
2. Drag and drop the Word (~.docx), Excel (~.xlsx), or PowerPoint (~.pptx) document files from which you want to extract images into the displayed dialog window, or add files using the "Add File" button.
3. If you have added an incorrect file, select the file you want to remove from the dialog window and click "Delete" button.
4. After confirming that all the files you want to extract images from are added to the dialog window, click "Extract" button.
5. A folder named "Office_Images" will be automatically created in the same directory as the files added to the dialog window.
6. When you open the "Office_Images" folder, all the image files from the document files added to the dialog window will have been extracted and saved.
[Product Features]
・Multiple Office document files can be added (It does not matter if the files are a mix of ~.docx, ~.xlsx, and ~.pptx formats.).
・If a file with the same name already exists in the "Office_Images" folder, the file name will be automatically changed and saved.
・The images are copied from the original Office document files added and pasted into the "Office_Images" folder. Therefore, all the images remain in the original Office document files. "Extract" in this context means "copy," not "cut."
・The extracted image file names will follow the format:
"Original Office Document File Name_Saved Image File Name.Extension"
・The types of images in the "Office_Images" folder may vary, with mixed file extensions. This is because the original image formats are preserved as they were before being pasted into the Office application.
[Limitations]
The quality of the extracted images is the quality at the time they were pasted and saved in the ~.docx, ~.xlsx, or ~.pptx files (the quality may be slightly degraded compared to the original image before pasting. The image quality also depends on the size of the pasted images).
