Overview
With the eXperiBot Blockly app, the visual code editor for the eXperiBot from Cornelsen Experimenta, programming becomes tangible.
The app is designed for use in school lessons and offers students from 5th to 12th grade (German school system) an exciting introduction to programming. The intuitive drag-and-drop operation of the block editor and the simple and fast execution of created programs on the eXperiBot educational robot convey programming concepts such as conditions, loops and variables in a practical manner. With the three available learning levels that build on each other, the scope and complexity of the available programming blocks can be adapted according to the learning progress. In addition to the beginner-friendly block view, programs can also be displayed in the Python programming language to enable a transition to advanced computer science lessons.
Thanks to its patented modular connector system, the eXperiBot educational robot is ready for use in just a few minutes without the need for complicated assembly. Thanks to its modularity, the robot can be perfectly adapted to different teaching content. All eXperiBot sets include a comprehensive teacher’s guide to ensure easy lesson preparation and hands-on learning in line with the curriculum. With the eXperiBot, students not only gain experience in programming and robotics, but also develop important skills such as creative problem-solving and abstract thinking.
