Overview
Uses the redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ library; developed with Max/MSP (Cycling74); requires a product running the EaganMatrix (Haken Audio).
Loris Synth is an Analysis & Resynthesis tool for the Haken Audio EaganMatrix, allowing you to create your own anlysis, send them to the EaganMatrix and design EaganMatrix presets using them. Therefore, it is MANDATORY to own a hardware product running an EaganMatrix to be able to use it (Continuum, ContinuuMini, EaganMatrix Module, ContinuuMicro or Osmose). Furthermore the EaganMatrix will have to run the 10.44 firmware and up to be compliant with all the Loris Synth features (Osmose will not have this firmware before first trimester of 2025). The purpose of Analysis & Resynthesis is to analyse an audio sample, and extract from it all the necessary information to drive the EaganMatrix Additive Bank. It will provide a result heavily inspired from the initial sample that can be manipulated in an infinite number of ways. It is not snot sampling, and not intended to be imitative: its purpose it to open a brand new sonic world based on the initial samples.
