OrganAssist - Organ MIDI Made Simple A non-technical application to assist organists in MIDI Recording, Editing, Translation and Playback on Classical / Church Organs

Overview

OrganAssist - Organ MIDI made simple This program provides a simple way of using MIDI to record, edit and translate music played on classical organs. It works with both digital organs and pipe organs equipped with a MIDI interface. Note - OrganAssist does not produce any sound but uses MIDI to control your Pipe/Digital/Virtual Organ to record/playback music. It is unique in allowing music recorded on one organ to be played back on other organs including those from a different manufacturer. All that is required is a little time to set up a layout for your specific instrument and then recording and editing tracks, or even playing tracks recorded on other instruments, involves no use of or need to understand, MIDI. OrganAssist is provided with many completed organ layouts for Hauptwerk plus examples of instruments from a selection of models from major organ manufacturers. You can use these as a basis for creating a layout for your specific instrument. Just choose any layout that looks like your instrument, change the Manufacturer to match and change the stops to match your instrument. OrganAssist will walk you through the process of it learning and storing the correct MIDI for your instrument.
