Overview
UFS Explorer RAID Recovery is a versatile software instrument focusing particularly on data recovery from RAID and various RAID-based storages, like NAS and DAS. The program is capable of processing standard, nested and custom RAID patterns just as efficiently as individual disks and other electronic media, including USB flash drives and memory cards managed by various file systems of Windows, Linux and macOS. Along with typical RAID setups, the software supports specific configurations, including Drobo BeyondRAID, Synology Hybrid RAID, Btrfs-RAID and other popular storage technologies, like Linux LVM, mdadm, Windows Dynamic Disks, Storage Spaces and Apple Fusion Drive. A supported complex storage can be reconstructed automatically by the application with the help of on-disk metadata or assembled manually by the user and built in a virtual mode.
Furthermore, UFS Explorer RAID Recovery offers additional functionality to improve the effectiveness of work with RAID disks and other linear storages that bear the signs of hardware defects. The program allows defining parameters as to storage reading or creating a disk image with the possibility to configure read timeout, block size, etc. and specify rules for skipping damaged sectors. Maps of bad blocks produced during imaging, through the identification of a given pattern or created by compatible utilities can also be employed in the recovery process.

• When source disk is reconnected to a different device path, the software attempts to restore connection by finding the disk by its serial (when possible);
• Reworked scan abortion procedure to allow much faster scan abortion on an area of defect blocks;
• NTFS scan procedure:
- More detailed parsing of directory indexes for better recovery of file names;
