Overview

What camera did I use for my best images last year? What would be the best next lens to buy? Do I really shoot that much in the dark so a better camera makes sense? This app calculates statistics of your JPGs to answer this type of questions. Select a directory and it will analyze the EXIF data of all JPGs including subdirectories: Aperture, focal length, ISO, camera used, all clustered into common areas. You can filter by camera, time frame and rating (e.g. only your best pictures taken in the last month). Or export as CSV file for detailed analysis with Microsoft Excel. If an image does not contain enough EXIF information, it is gracefully ignored. The app does not connect to the internet; your precious images are kept private and never leave your disk.
