Overview
This is a companion app for OBDdash.Pro and Sports gauge. It allows you to decode ScanGauge(tm) X-Gauge(tm) commands and convert them to OBD dash custom PIDs.
To use it:
- Enter the XGauge command: TXD,RXF,RXD,MTH,NAM in the respective text box in this app.
- Enter the long gauge display name
- Hit Convert! to decode the x-gauge command.
This app supports the following input format: CANSF, CANLF, VPW, KWP, PWM.
Please following the instructions on our website to create custom PID. In addition to the generated information, at minimum you will need to manually specify the Vehicle model, MIN, MAX, and Unit to create a valid custom PID.
If you want to use the conversion result in other compatible app such as Torque Pro, you need to join the "Service Mode" and "Parameter ID" into one single string as the Torque PID. No modification is need to the expression/equation.
