Overview
Optics Lab is intended for teachers and students of GCSE and A level Physics, allowing them to not only demonstrate optical systems, but make measurements, perform experiments and build their own optical systems.
Optics Lab contains many of the optical systems required for GCSE and A level Physics, including: refracting and reflecting telescopes, refraction in parallel sided prisms, magnifying lenses, the eye, glasses and chromatic aberrations.
Additional optical systems will be added in future updates.
Features
Build your own optical systemsDesigned for GCSE and A level PhysicsIncludes: Telescopes, convex and concave lenses, curved mirrors and parallel sided prismsMeasurements include distances and angles allowing for calculation of focal length, refractive index and angular magnification
What's new
Fixes error causing hanging, including when adding many components to the simulation.
If Optics Lab crashes or hangs please report the error at the Optics Lab website. Thanks.
