Overview
Logicblocks is a set of three tools that complement the teaching of logic gates and elementary logic blocks. In particular,
In a module called "gates", the operation of 4 logic gates (not, or, and & xor) is displayed, and the truth table corresponding to each of them is displayed as a tooltip. In the first three doors, there is a non-abstract view of the doors (an elementary implementation, with few transistors) that is used, during a lesson, to explain the concept of abstraction.
In the register module, the behavior of a register, -a simple one or a counter-, and the basic operations of loading, counting or reseting are emulated. A chronogram is also shown, and concepts such as synchronism, edge and level triggering are displayed.
Finally, in the mux module (or multiplexer), the operation of a mux with two or four inputs is displayed. The concepts of bus multiplexer, and device delays (the outputs are shown with one second delay in response to the inputs) are also explained and visualized.
Features
